FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: strain-gauge transducer has two arms joined with ends to hinge. Arms have straps placed in plane of expansion of arms parallel to surface of object between ends of arms facing object to ensure accurate determination of expansion of object with its heating and with positioning of arms not necessarily in parallel. Zone of each bearing strap protruding beyond end of corresponding arm facing object is attached to object and its expansion is determined by movement of arms apart. Capacitor which plates are arranged practically in parallel to each other can be used in the capacity of measurement device of strain-gauge transducer.
