FIELD: devices used for carrying tourist equipment, food products and tourist's personal articles, may be used in home conditions for carrying heavy objects. SUBSTANCE: knapsack has bottom, back plate, shoulder straps connected with back plate, thigh belt connected to back plate and buckle for connecting thigh belt ends. Back plate is deformed by load placed within knapsack and becomes convex relative to knapsack vertical axis. Knapsack is equipped with at least two brackets, each connected with its one side to back plate and with its other side to thigh belt between buckle and back plate. Vertical force applied to thigh belt by load placed in knapsack is distributed in belt back part at thigh belt and back plate junction zone and at bracket and thigh belt junction zones on sides of belt to reduce force applied to abdomen.
