FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: aluminum alloy for mechanical treatment is composed of, wt.%: copper, about 0.15-1.0; tin, about 0.4-1.5; magnesium, about 0.65-1.35; silicon, about 0.4-1.1; manganese, about 0.002-0.35; iron, up to 0.5; chromium, up to 0.15; titanium, up to 0.15; aluminum, the balance. In its preferable version, alloy contains, wt %: copper, about 0.45-0.7; tin, about 0.9-1.3; magnesium, about 0.7-0.9; and silicon, about 0.45- 0.75. Alloy is free of lead, bismuth, nickel, zirconium, and cadmium. Products from this alloy and method of their preparation are also described. EFFECT: improved workability of alloy. 15 cl, 3 tbl
