FIELD: aluminum-magnesium alloys with high resistance to corrosion and corrosion separation into layers under stress. SUBSTANCE: aluminum-magnesium alloy has components in the following ratio, wt.%: Mg, 5.0-6.0; Mn, above 0.6-1.2; Zn, 0.4-1.5; Zr, 0.05-0.25; Cr, 0.3 max; Ti, 0.2 max; Fe, 0.5 max; Si, 0.5 max; Cu, 0.4 max; aluminum and inevitable impurities, the balance. Technical result consists in production of plate or extrusion profile from said alloy possessing strength considerably higher than standard alloy AA5083, after high-temperature tempering and after mechanical hardening.
