FIELD: mining machinery and equipment. SUBSTANCE: heading machine can be used in driving mining development workings in combination face and anchor support of underground workings. Heading machine has body, undercarriage and loading mechanisms, and also boom with cutting bit and telescopic drilling machine. Cutting bit and telescopic drilling machine are made in the form of integral unit which is pivotally installed on boom. Boom is of U-shape configuration and is pivotally secured on slewing base. It is operated by means of hydraulic rams. Cutting bit driving motor is located eccentrically with respect to axis of cutting bit. Cutting bit has axial through-passage in which movable is rod of telescopic drilling machine. EFFECT: increased productive capacity in driving underground workings and in drilling bore-holes for anchor support.
