FIELD: nuclear power engineering. SUBSTANCE: inclined table of unit for assembling fuel elements into bundle and inclined table where fuel bundles are disassembled upon varnish coating mount stepping mechanisms for vertical upward and downward movement of transport magazines for their removal and charging with fuel elements upon their coating with varnish. Vertically moving racks inclined in the same way as tables of fuel-bundle charging and post-varnishing discharging units are provided on manipulators of respective units. Vertically moving racks of assembly unit have fixed stops on their ends and hinged fuel-element separators arranged lengthwise on either side of racks in staggered manner above each support; separators are, essentially, different-arm L-shaped parts free to turn through 90 deg. with angle opening facing the fuel element feed side. Each truck of gripping tool has hinged stops in front part with counter-weights and spring-loaded stops in rear part; chain conveyer has pin-type pushers.
