FIELD: sericulture. SUBSTANCE: method involves exposing silkworm eggs to electromagnetic field at germ elongation stage and laying for incubation. Pre-incubation treatment involves exposing to electromagnetic field microwave energy at effective dose of 9.6-15 kJ/kg for 24-33 s. Upon termination of treatment time, silkworm eggs are laid for incubation, with laying process lasting not in excess of 24-40 hours. Method allows silkworm productivity to be increased by 35.3% compared to known method. EFFECT: reduced incubation period, improved quality of silkworm eggs by increased disinfecting efficiency and increased silkworm egg yield. 2 tbl
