FIELD: water preparation and hydraulic metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: present invention describes process for preparing polymerization type anionites used in various ion-exchange reactions. The claimed process comprises copolymerization of styrene and divinyl benzene and subsequent chloromethylation and amination. Chloromethylation is carried out by feeding titanium tetrachloride catalyst as donor acceptor- monochlorodimethyl ether complex at 20 C in amount of 0.6-1.0 wt part per 1 wt part of copolymer, and temperature is then raised to 42 C and maintained for 6 hours. Such addition of catalyst makes it possible to avoid overheating of reaction mixture and reduce chloromethylation time. EFFECT: improved osmotic stability and greater mechanical strength of the resulting anionites. 2 cl, 6 ex
