FIELD: surfactants. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to surfactant particles containing at least 80 wt % of surfactants and at least 1 wt % of solubilizing co-surfactant, namely, nonionic surfactant, alkylethoxy sulfate, primary alkyl sulfate, or their mixtures. Agglomerated particle contains at least 35 wt % of surfactant including (based on total weight of surfactant) at least 35% of secondary (2,3) C₁₀-C₂₀-alkyl sulfate, at least 20% of solubilizing co- surfactant, and powdered detergent ingredients and fillers to the balance. As solubilizing co-surfactants, used are: nonionic ethoxylated alcohols, ethoxylated alkylphenols, polyhydroxy-fatty acid amides, alkylpolyglycosides, fatty alcohol amides, and their mixtures, or mixtures of above-indicated nonionic and anionic co-surfactants.
