FIELD: small arms, in particular, mechanisms for retaining of mechanism in pistol grip. SUBSTANCE: the mechanism uses a catch and a leaf spring installed in the frame and placed in the lateral groove of the catch and resting on the frame by both ends. The stop made on the latch fixes the latter in the extreme position. The latch is cylinder-shaped, and is held from turning around the axis by a boss made on the latch and positioned in the frame groove. EFFECT: simplified design of the weapon, enhanced reliability of fire and convenience in use. 2 cl, 3 dwg
