FIELD: weapon equipment, in particular, magazine locking mechanism transposed, depending on the fact by which hand the weapon is controlled. SUBSTANCE: mechanism has a case installed in the weapon frame opening. A spring-loaded lock, whose end is located in the retainer groove, is positioned in the longitudinal blind hole of the case. The case has a V-shaped recess, whose each side has bulges for engagement with one of the respective cut-outs made on the opposite sides of the magazine.
