FIELD: polymer materials. SUBSTANCE: hot-house coats contain thermoplastic polymer, stabilizer (namely, phenosan-23), and europium-based optical activator, which is europium-activated strontium sulfide or strontium sulfide activated with europium, dysprosium and/or terbium, or strontium and calcium sulfides activated with europium, dysprosium and/or terbium. Film material manufactured using optical activators proposed possesses light-transformation properties: absorbs sun-light UV emission in 250- 330 and 400-440 nm regions and emits in red (580-760 nm) spectrum region. Emission maximum lies within 618-680 nm band, that is both in chlorophyll A and chlorophyll B absorption region, which enhances plant photosynthesis activity. In addition, polymer material possesses durable (up to 2 hr) afterglow, which provides irradiation of plants in spectrum region most favorable for them and after sunset. Excitement spectrum of polymer material with optical filler covers near visible sun-spectrum region, which enables the film to be effectively used in cloudy time.
