FIELD: programmably-controlled preheating system of internal combustion engines, automatic maintenance of temperature of internal combustion engines within preset range for warming-up engine and excluding premature of crank mechanism; automatic start of engine within required period of time. SUBSTANCE: system includes control unit which is connected with storage battery of transport facility. System is placed in operation either manually or remotely. Voltage from storage battery is fed to system through stabilization unit and engine temperature monitoring unit starts following up the internal combustion engine temperature; after the lower threshold of preset temperature range has been achieved, the started of internal combustion engine is automatically switched on, thus performing start and warming-up of engine. After the upper boundary of the preset temperature range has been achieved, internal combustion engine is automatically stopped and the cycle is repeated. System is provided with timer for starting the internal combustion engine within preset period of time. EFFECT: ease of start at negative temperature; avoidance of external power supply source; simplified connected of system; reduced wear of crank mechanism. 3 cl, 1 dwg
