POWER PLANT FOR OIL RECOVERY Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: oil production industry. SUBSTANCE: power plant is based on utilization of flexible pump-compressor pipes made of composite materials instead of using metal pipes in oil production equipment. Power plant for oil production has hydraulic cylinders with hollow double-side rods, and valves. Also provided are high-pressure pipelines which are connected with hydraulic power station and control unit. Pump-compressor pipes are connected with well head equipment. Ends of links of pipes are provided with quick-release couplers for hermetic joining of corresponding pipelines to each other, and also with hydraulic cylinders, with special well head equipment, hydraulic power station and control unit. Each link of flexible pump-compressor pipes has special drum for winding up and storing of this link. Power plant is provided with platform which carries frames. These frames can perform reciprocating motions laterally with respect to platform. Motions are powered from individual drive units. Installed on each frame is bracket with bearings for ends of shaft. Mounted on this shaft is drum which can be rotated from individual drive unit relative to horizontal axis which coincides with direction of platform movement. Platform has guide mechanism connected with hydraulic power cylinders. Application of embodiment of power plant makes unnecessary use of sophisticated equipment, allows for reduction of special technological equipment, it permits cutting of servicing cost, increasing productivity with reduction of power demand.
