FIELD: astronomic instruments. SUBSTANCE: sun calendar has two adjacent vertical rods which are located on noon-time line. One rod serves as gnomon, another one as screen. Screen dial is designed as nomogram formed by daily marks which are made during the year by shadow in upper part of gnomon. Said nomogram consists of three parts: central longitudinal line with marks of true sun noon times, grid formed by horizontal calendar lines and additional minute longitudinal lines, and 8-shaped line of time equation with true time marks at average noon time or average time for true noon. Calendar dates (days, months, seasons, half years), digital explanations of nomogram data and sun declination dial are located on side of dial. EFFECT: increased information and demonstration capabilities. 4 dwg
