FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of clock machinery, in particular, to clockwork mechanisms with hand indication of time, to mechanical clocks and clockwork mechanisms of complicated type. For visual dial indication of Shabbat beginning time 18 minutes before sunset with appearance of the first star on Friday or relying on the data of the local religious community's tables and of the Shabbat end time at the end of Saturday with appearance of the third star on Saturday or relying on the data of the local religious community's tables, in the Shabbat time indication device (containing a clockwork mechanism and time indication means) the time indication means are designed so that to enable Shabbat beginning and end time indication, with Shabbat beginning time indicated 18 minutes before sunset on Friday, in the orthodox way, by the time of appearance of the first star in the sky on Friday, or relying on the data of the local religious community's tables, with indication of Shabbat end time upon sunset on Saturday, in the orthodox way, by the time of appearance of the third star in the sky on Saturday, or relying on the data of the local religious community's tables. The device contains the following elements, cinematically connected to the clockwork mechanism and to each other: a mechanism for rotation of the Shabbat beginning and end cams (wherein information on Shabbat beginning and end time is programmed) and measurement and transmission systems enabling mechanical read-out of information from the Shabbat beginning and end cams and transmission of information on Shabbat beginning and end time to the corresponding indicators. The clock for Shabbat time indication contains a clockwork mechanism with a motor, a regulator, a trigger, a wheel system and time indication means enabling Shabbat beginning and end time indication.
EFFECT: according to the Shabbat time indication method, a Shabbat time indication device is used in the clock enabling Shabbat beginning and end time indication.
