MILKING MANIPULATOR Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture, in particular, milking equipment. SUBSTANCE: portable milking manipulator has automatic control unit, actuating mechanism and hanger formed as arced device provided with tracing members adapted for tracing transverse profile of animal's body. Hanger is connected with its one end to actuating mechanism by means of quick-action telescopic joint. Actuating mechanism is formed as corrugated pipe enclosed in casing. Actuating mechanism is connected with milk claw through flexible tie-rod positioned in U-shaped guide mounted on corrugated pipe casing and provided with teat cup catcher formed as ring. Such construction of manipulator allows holding-over of milking unit on animal's udder to be completely eliminated and cow mastitis sick rate to be decreased. Manipulator may be used at farms of different types and for milking units of any kind. EFFECT: increased efficiency, wider operational capabilities and simplified construction. 3 cl, 6 dwg
