FIELD: medicine; traumatology; orthopedics. SUBSTANCE: method includes performance of roentgenogram of damaged limb segment, determination of coordinates of plane hinge location, hinge installation, and removal of deformation. Roentgenogram is carried out in projection of angular displacement of distal bone splinter. Distal point is marked on axis of proximal bone splinter. Proximal and distant points are marked on axis of distal splinter. With length of distal bone splinter known distal point of distal splinter is marked on extension of axis of proximal bone splinter after reposition. Distal point of proximal splinter and proximal point of distal splinter are connected in pairs. Distal point of distal splinter and distal point located on extension of proximal splinter axis are also interconnected after reposition. Perpendiculars are erected to middle points of obtained sections till they cross at point indicating the place of plane hinge installation.
