FIELD: medicine; medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: electrocardiosignal is recorded from which R-teeth of cardiocomplex are separated. Then intervals are measured, and numerical series of interval values is formed. Local minima (first-grade change-over points) which determine first-order waves, are separated from series obtained. Sequence of separated local minima also represents numerical series with inherent local minima (second-grade change-over points) which determine second-order waves. This done, waves of higher orders are separated. Sequences of double-interval waves are specific information-containing indications of oncologic process. Sequences of three-interval waves are specific information-containing indications of toxic effect including the narcotic one. Device for method realization has unit of separation of specific information-containing indications.
