ADDITIVE COMPOSITION AND MIDDLE DISTILLATE COMPOSITION CONTAINING THEREOF Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: petroleum product additives. SUBSTANCE: invention concerns new additive improving working characteristics of middle distillates at low temperatures and favors maintaining stable dispersion of paraffin hydrocarbon crystals in distillate at temperatures below -20 C. Additive is composed of (i) 60-94 wt % of antisedimentation additive obtained from reaction of at least one dicarboxylic compound and one polyamine with general formula , wherein R and R' are saturated aliphatic C₁-C₃₂-radicals, n= 2-4, and m=1- 4, and (ii) 6-40 wt % of disperser-stabilizer with molecular weight 15000 to 50000 prepared by esterification of straight-chain C₆-C₂₄- alcohol with organic acid such as maleic acid or its halides followed by polymerization of resultant ester as itself or its copolymerization with suitable compound selected from aliphatic dicarboxylic compounds. Described also is middle crude-oil distillate composition containing oil distillate as predominant component and above-indicated additive composition as minor component.
