FIELD: oil extracting industry, in particular, equipment used for carrying out isolation works during major repair of oil wells. SUBSTANCE: packer has casing, sealing rings, anchor unit, cutoff valve and packing mechanism made in the form of hollow stem with piston and seat for cutoff valve and cylinder provided with annular bead. Bead defines, together with stem and piston, chamber which is communicated with casing space via radial channel. Anchor unit is positioned between sealing rings. Seat has extreme pressure retainer. Casing has setting part. Stem has detachable valve engageable with setting part. EFFECT: reduced production cost, increased efficiency by improved adhesiveness of packer to casing. 1 dwg
