FIELD: optics. SUBSTANCE: cat's eye is made of clear material. Rear reflecting surface is made of light-returning cells built on faces of cube. Front refraction surface includes broken sections in the form of regular hexagonal pyramids of small height. Ribs of pyramid cross projections of cubic cells on to refraction surface. Technical outcome consists in that dihedral refraction angles so formed in front of cells provide for scattering of reflected rays through any small angle specified beforehand without radiation losses related to scattering through other angles.
