FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, namely hot zinc plating of steel strip. SUBSTANCE: bath includes embedded tank with heaters and through slit for steel strip. Tank is insulated from outside. In tank sunk to bath for zinc plating temperature of zinc is higher than temperature of zinc in bath and viscosity of zinc is less. It allows to apply thin zinc coats at less power and material consumption. EFFECT: lowered energy consumption at process of applying thin coats, reduced noise of gas cutters in line for hot zinc plating. 1 dwg
