FIELD: metallurgical industry, namely, coiling furnaces for heat treatment of steel strip. SUBSTANCE: tower type furnace includes heating section with radiation tubes arranged along steel strip. Between radiation tubes there are reflectors having predetermined shape depending upon intertube spacing. Such design allows to increase furnace efficiency by 35%. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of tower furnace, improved ecological conditions at operation of furnace. 2 dwg
