FIELD: geophysical examination of boreholes. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the capacity of telemetering system in boreholes of any profile including those in north areas at latitudes up to 80 degrees without usage of magnetic field of the Earth. Down-hole logging instrument has enclosure filled with working liquid that houses float carrying one or two sealed two-component gyroscopic transmitters of angular velocity. One butt of float rests against spring-loaded bellows that connects float with enclosure. Sealed connector is positioned beyond bellows. Aluminum heat remover and cooling battery are placed one after another in the other butt of float on its internal side. Copper heat remover soldered to enclosure is located behind this butt of float. Bellows filled with air under pressure and nipple to evacuate air and to fill this unit to evacuate air from it are arranged behind heat remover. Sealed hole is used to let wires from two- component gyroscopic transmitter of angular velocity and from cooling battery be passed to sealed connector from which information is sent over logging cable to ground unit that supplies power. EFFECT: provision for measurement of azimuth in process of drilling of small-diameter boreholes without setting zero on surface of ground. 2 dwg
