FIELD: protection of computer information. SUBSTANCE: method involves attenuation of stray electromagnetic radiation carrying information about image displayed on monitor screen and latent information components of stray radiation by superposition of electromagnetic fields of color image signals. It is based on controlling color image signals in compliance with specified conditions. Method may be used for developing and using special-purpose color image signal control programs as more effective protective software compared with active and passive facilities for information protection in computers. EFFECT: reduced cost, improved safety for personnel, and provision for producing unintentional interference for communication facilities. 8 dwg
