FIELD: electrical and radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: high-voltage low-induction low- impedance capacitor presents package of flat striplines placed one above another and connected in parallel. Current conducting plates of flat striplines are manufactured in the form of rectangles which two angles on smaller sides of rectangles are cut asymmetrically by lines that are bases of right-angled isosceles triangles with different heights. Identically cut angles near even plates are located on one, bigger side of right- angled triangles and angles close to odd plates cut in same manner are situated on opposite side of right-angled triangles. Each current conducting plate is positioned inside folded film of insulator and rests with butt with cut angles against line of folding of film. Angles of folded film of insulator are symmetrically cut along lines which are bases of equal right-angled isosceles triangles so that greater line of cut of angle of current conducting plate is overlapped with film of insulator and smaller line of cut of opposite angle of current conducting plate protrudes beyond line of cut of film of insulator. Flat current pick-off buses-leads-out that snugly envelope package of plates along outline of cut part are pressed against bulging out edges of unlike plates of capacitor to obtain reliable electric contact.
