DEVICE FOR AIR SATURATION WITH IONS OF MINE COMMON SALT (VARIANTS) Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has ion generator with salt-containing material and air-flow agitator. Ion generator is made of small salt lumps of Artyemovsk deposit arranged in form of pyramid, cube, cylinder or hillock with air ducts formed between them, and air-flow agitator is represented by heat source. In other variant generator is made of salt- containing material of Artyemovsk deposit and is provided with through holes. The latter may be made in lumps or in ground salt with size of particles of up to 1 mm, placed in mould and packed by means of distilled water. Generator may also be assembled of salt plates installed so as to form cylindrical stepped surface. Salt plates are positioned in hollow mould, space between mould and plates being filled with ground salt packed by means of distilled water. Provision may be made foe one or several holes. EFFECT: production of mine common salt aerosol largely corresponding to natural one. 7 cl, 4 dwg
