FIELD: light food-processing and chemical industries and farming. SUBSTANCE: separator includes vertical cylindrical housing with tangential inlet for starting mixture and light fraction discharge branch pipe which are located in its upper portion; chamber for receiving and discharging coarse fraction is located in lower portion of housing. injector located above chamber is made in form of ring-shaped pipe secured on housing in such way that clearance is formed between outer diameter of ring and walls of housing. Injector has holes whose axes form angle of 45 deg relative to axis of separator housing; diameter and pitch of holes depend on the diameter of pipe. Atomizer located above injector in center of housing is made in form of taper nozzle with orifice with elbow-shaped air inlet secured on wall of housing. Reflector secured on upper portion of housing on cover is made in form of cone whose surface is mounted at clearance relative to walls of housing and cover. Assemblage of separator members, their interconnection and location provided for favorable aerodynamic conditions for reliable separation of materials especially those having insignificant difference in mass of fractions excluding entrainment of quality fractions by lighter fibres.
