CENTRIFUGAL GAS-AND-LIQUID SEPARATOR FILTER Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC B01D45/12 

FIELD: equipment for cleaning gases and liquids from mechanical admixtures; gas, oil, power-generating and other industries.

SUBSTANCE: proposed filter has vertical housing with taper cover and bottom, tangential mixture inlet, axial tube, shielding taper plates, cleaned gas and liquid outlet branch pipes fitted with respective valve units for shutting-off the gas or liquid flow. Taper bottom is provided underneath with solid fraction separating unit. Axial tube is made in form of stack of perforated branch pipes whose lower part is telescopically inserted into upper part of other perforated branch pipe for limited turn. Lower perforated branch pipe telescopically enters the cleaned liquid outlet branch pipe which is bent sideways for recirculation of liquid. Upper end of each perforated branch pipe but for the upper one is provided with taper plates. Upper perforated branch pipe is rigidly connected with cleaned gas outlet branch pipe which is hermetically fitted in taper cover for turning and locking in extreme positions for recirculation of gas. Holes of perforated branch pipes are closed on the outside with filters whose throughput may be changed at turn of perforated branch pipes relative to each other. Filters are made in form of cylindrical screens inserted hermetically and coaxially one in other for relative turn; upper end of one of cylindrical screens is hermetically connected to perforated branch pipe above holes and lower end of other cylindrical screen is hermetically connected to upper edge of other perforated branch pipe or cleaned liquid outlet branch pipe; perforated branch pipe with first cylindrical screen is inserted into this branch pipe. Lower part of body is provided with electric winding.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of cleaning gas-and-liquid mixture fed at any rate and any content of gas in liquid; avoidance of choking; improved quality of cleaning.
