CRAWLER-MOUNTED EXCAVATOR UNDERCARRIAGE Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: excavating machinery and equipment. SUBSTANCE: excavator undercarriage has circular support for mounting of turntable, upper plate and lower plate made in the form of arch in lateral cross-section. These plates are connected by ribs. Lower plate by its longitudinal edges is connected with upper plate. Components for mounting of power drive and crawler tensioning mechanism as well as components for mounting crawler tread rollers at one side are secured on aforesaid plates. At other side these components are secured on L-shaped bars which by their longitudinal edges of side faces and by means of ribs are fastened on side walls of upper plate. Lower plate by its longitudinal edges is connected with upper plate by means of intermediate component which functions as component for fastening of crawler tread rollers. Aforesaid embodiment of crawler undercarriage reduces labour-intensity needed for joining lower and upper plates of excavator undercarriage frame. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 8 cl, 10 dwg
