FIELD: oil and gas production industry. SUBSTANCE: method is applied to wells with abnormally high bed pressures prior to undertaking geological and engineering operations. According to method, brine water is injected into well with abnormally high bed pressure before performing geological and engineering operations. After that, delivered into well is suspension of water-soluble polymer and it is pressure-forced down by brine water to required depth above bed roof, and polymer is kept there until it swells and until creation of impermeable screen for oil and gas and creation of stationary screen when bed pressure exceeds bottom-hole pressure by required value. Application of aforesaid method simplifies deadening process with achieving equality of bottom-hole pressure and bed pressure in wall. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
