FIELD: mechanical engineering; transportation of thin tapes; utilization of roll paper tape with aluminium foil coating. SUBSTANCE: the following parts are installed on support members of device base: feed spool, receiving spool with drive and parallel posts secured for movement by means of hinge joint and provided with special arrangement for adjusting post-to-horizion tilting angle. Rolls installed on base and rolls installed in slots of posts form system with loop section orientated in vertical plane. Slots are made to provided fixing of roll axles by nuts to form bow-shaped outline of downward branch of loop. Length and shape of slots is calculated to provide two-fold change of bow radius. Down-ward branch of loop is subjected to thermal treatment in processing zone to provided removal of paper layer of tape. Aluminium foil, thus received, is wound on receiving spool. Design of device provides possibility of spatial orientation of tape in preset position in zone of thermal treatment which guarantees quality cleaning of foil from paper carrier. Foil does not get considerably warped and oxided in processing zone and passes to receiving spool without breakage. Roller up foil free from paper layer is delivered remelting in rolls.
