FIELD: fire suppression on ships at sea. SUBSTANCE: method includes opening of all locked rooms into internal space of craft, closing of all hatches of apartments to isolate them from one another, sealing of all process apertures of weather deck; turning over of the craft after evacuation of people; communication of internal space of each compartment near keel with ambient atmosphere for possible regulation up to covering; supplying to internal space of each compartment of gas medium for suppression of fire, for instance, carbon dioxide gas; blowing-through of compartments to remove oxygen together with air up to fire extinguishing.
