FIELD: agricultural industry. SUBSTANCE: method relates to farming procedures when using straw as fertilizer. Organic fertilizer according to method contains straw of cereals and leguminous crops in following proportion: straw of cereal crops - 2 parts, straw of leguminous crops - 1 part. According to method of producing organic fertilizer, straw of cereal and leguminous crops is preliminarily disintegrated to condition of coarse grinding and then is introduced into soil not earlier than one month before sowing. Application of aforesaid method and technique allows for improving fertility of soil and raising of crop yield due to reduction of phyto-toxicity and reducing period of mineralization of cereal crop straw and also due to optimization of disintegration of leguminous crop straw.
