STRAIN OF BACTERIUM PSEUDOMONAS SPECIES FOR PREPARATION AGAINST FUNGAL DISEASES IN PLANTS Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: biotechnology, agriculture. SUBSTANCE: strain Pseudomonas species 7G2K is isolated from wild cereals rhizosphere and deposited in NII "Collection of microorganism cultures" GNC VB "Vector" at number B-695. For preparing the preparation used against fungal diseases in plants the strain is cultured in different nutrient media at 28-30 C for 10-12 h to concentration 10¹⁰-10¹¹ cells/ml. Then cells are washed off with water or buffer solution, diluted to titer value 10⁶-10⁷ cells/ml and obtained suspension is used for protection of plants from phytopathogens. Strain shows antagonistic properties against fungi of genus Phytophthora, Fusarium, Alternaria, Rhizoctonia. Strain shows an active metabolism, high productivity and does not require special nutrient media. EFFECT: strain indicated above, enhanced effectiveness of the preparation. 2 tbl, 3 ex
