FIELD: railway transport; shunting and freight diesel locomotives. SUBSTANCE: side self-aligning support has ring rubber member in body frame and sliding plate on support surface of bogie. Semicylinders with cross shaft and cover are installed on sliding plate. One end of vertical rod is connected through holes in sliding plate cover and upper semicylinder with cross shaft. With its other end, rod is fitted in body frame by means of guide bushing and four-angle prism. Ring rubber members thrust against sliding plate cover. EFFECT: improved performance characteristics of shunting and freight diesel locomotives, enhanced reliability at implementing vehicle traction force. 4 dwg
