VENTILATION GRATE Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: ventilation grate relates to exhaust ventilation systems and their arrangement in dwelling buildings. Ventilation grate has steel frame made of angles, and protective grate. Fixed to steel frame is plastic body with screen having small openings. Body is provided over its perimeter with foam plastic gasket which is kept in tight contact with wall. Also provided is device for its fixing to protective grate. Device is made up of hook and washer. Aforesaid embodiment of ventilation grate reliably prevents penetration into premise of insects from other dwelling units through ventilation air ducts.
