FIELD: erection of orbital space complexes; erection of objects in outer space. SUBSTANCE: complex is erected from lightened hermetic foldable modules delivered from Earth; these modules are automatically expended under action of residual air pressure. Transversal rigid structures of complex are erected from these by erectors with the aid of cranes. According to another version; craft-containers containing foldable modules are mated to spacecraft, after which these modules are placed in working position. Then they are passed through rollers of working platform and are mated by erectors by means cranes. Cranes and erectors are reliably secured for conducting the required jobs. EFFECT: reduced power requirements and labor consumption due to employment of industrial building process in erecting bulky space complexes. 5 cl, 7 dwg
