FIELD: forming large habitable complexes in space on module basis.

SUBSTANCE: proposed town has form of cylinder with disk end members; it is built on basis of space building modules. Town includes cylindrical space settlements with longitudinal tunnels and end members for passage of cargoes and persons between settlement and space. Settlements rotate around their longitudinal axes forming artificial gravitation; they are provided with orienting units. Said complex includes also circular tubular passages with cruciform passageways and points for communication with space and settlements. Disk end members are formed by combining tubular passages and said communication points in flat pressurized structures. Circular tubular passages are interconnected by means of axles on which space settlements and their end members for passage of cargoes and persons are freely mounted. End members are provided with disconnecting devices (during rotation) and temporary connection to end disk members; they are connected with longitudinal tunnels of settlements through said communication points, thus ensuring motion of cargoes and persons. Orienting units are used for maintenance of required position of town in space.

EFFECT: increased industrial power; extended functional capabilities of space habitable complex.
