FIELD: waste disposal. SUBSTANCE: invention is applicable for processing various-nature solids and liquids containing organic or combustible mineral components. Waste is placed into stream of hot heat- resistant granulated heat carrier wherein waste is dried and unnvaporized waste components are heated, while cooled heat carrier is separated from dried waste components, which are further pyrolyzed. According to invention, at least part of those components are mixed with at least part of cooled granulated heat carrier and resulting mixture is subjected to pyrolysis, while the rest of separated cooled heat carrier is combined with heat carrier heated in pyrolysis process when used for drying fresh waste. Installation contains horizontal drying apparatus including at least one drying chamber to which waste-supply and hot heat carrier-supply pipelines are connected; heater connected to drying chamber; connected to heat chamber special means for collecting granulated heat carrier and dried waste components; and heater for dried waste components and part of granulated heat carrier, which is connected to drying apparatus through pipeline.
