METHOD OF PROCESS CONTROL OF DRAGLINE EXCAVATION AND DEVICE FOR ITS EMBODIMENT Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: mining industry; applicable in control of working equipment of dragline excavator. SUBSTANCE: method includes regulation of tension force of hoist ropes in function of tension force of pulling ropes. In this case, constant thickness of cutting depending on ground categoty is ensured due to determination of minimum value of criterion of excavating efficiency and corresponding to it optimal value of proportionality factor of these forces. Efficiency criterion takes into account path of excavation and load in drive of excavating mechanism. Method is realized by means of device which has electric drives of hoisting and pulling winches with master controllers, tension transducers of hoisting and pulling ropes, transducer of pulling velocity and unit for determination of efficiency criterion. The latter is made in the form of two integrators with scale units at their outputs and summator of two output signals of these scale units. Output of efficiency criterion determination unit is connected via unit of determination of its minimum with one of inputs of program unit whose other input is connected to transducer of pulling ropes tension. Connected with program unit and transducer of hoisting ropes tension is regulator of tension of hoisting ropes.
