HASP LOCK Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: hasp locks. SUBSTANCE: lock has spring-loaded levers located on hasp for transverse motion of each lever relative to hasp. Hasp has through transverse channels and each lever is provided with locking and interlocking pins installed coaxially relative to outlets of respective channels. Distance between pin ends is taken equal to hasp thickness. Pressure key has set of rods corresponding to number of levers. Working length of each rod equals value of locking pin of respective lever. To increase combination of lock, locking pins are made of different sizes. In closed state of lock, locking pins enter through channels and fix the hasp. With key pressed, rods pass through holes to enter lock body, and each rod presses out respective lever through value of working part. In this case, locking pin come out of channels and free the hasp. Hasp is withdrawn by displacement mechanism. Provision is made to fix the hasp in lock open position. Lock is locked with motion of hasp under spring action to working position and subsequent withdrawal of key. Under action of springs, levers move towards hasp and their locking pins enter channels. Provision is made for locking and unlocking of lock, both from external and internal sides of door. EFFECT: simple in design and handling, reliable in operation. 3 cl, 4 dwg
