GAS DIESEL ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines operating to gas diesel cycle. SUBSTANCE: proposed system has gas pressure regulator with pneumatic valve, mixer installed in intake branch pipe of diesel engine and connected by gas line with gas pressure regulator through pneumatic valve, rotary shutter secured on axle in intake branch pipe between diesel engine and mixer and mechanically coupled through lever with accelerator pedal and control member of fuel pump. Pneumatic valve has atmospheric chamber and diaphragm mechanically connected with valve, atmospheric chamber being placed in communication with intake branch pipe between shutter and diesel engine through pipeline. System has rotary spring-loaded plate installed in lower part of intake branch pipe between shutter and mixer, and limiting stops installed in intake branch pipe for engagement with shutter. Axis of shutter is displaced relative to center of shutter, and shutter lever is connected with accelerator through spring. EFFECT: increased fuel economy. 3 cl, 2 dwg
