FIELD: pharmacy. SUBSTANCE: emulsion has, wt.-%: oily material, 0.1-70; emulsifier, 0.01-50; and polar solvent, the balance. Oily material is emulsified in polar solvent. Emulsifier - a galactolipid material consisting of at least 50 wt. -% of digalactosyldiacylglycerols. Galactolipid material consists of preferably 70-80 wt.-% of digalactosyldiacylglycerols and 20-30 wt.-% of other polar lipids. Pharmaceutical composition comprises an emulsion in combination with the therapeutically active substance. Emulsions exhibit the enhanced stability at storage and sterilization at autoclave treatment, they show very narrow and stable distribution of particle sizes. Therapeutically active substance in the composition can be the lipophilic drug. Emulsions are used as carriers for an active substance used in pharmaceutical compositions, food, cosmetic, fodder and agriculture products.
