FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device may be used for treatment of alcohol, narcotic and toxic dependencies and for prophylaxis. Device has helmet with closed inputs of visual and acoustic analyzers, light stimulator in light effect channel, tactile stimulator in tactile effect channel, each of them is arranged on internal surface of helmet. Device also includes control unit which contains unit of setting the stimulus movement program, synchronization unit, and generators of mobbing light, acoustic and tactile stimuli, respectively. Stimulators have right- and left-hand channels. Control of immersion in different levels of trance states and reduction of patient's resistance are obtained due to introduction of tactile-effect channel, tactile-effect former, tactile stimulator and light stimulator.
