FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, elimination of defects on surfaces of compound shape. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has sealing member and pressing member. Sealing member is made from flexible material of porous structure and is provided with rib extending along its perimeter. Pressing member has rigid plate with rings positioned on its perimeter. Plate is secured on sealing member which is compressed in vertical plane. Tie-rods fixed on sealing member with rib are passed through rings, brought together to form single bundle on rigid plate and fastened on plate edge by pin. Construction of apparatus allows defects to be sealed on any surfaces, including those positioned in hard-to-reach places. EFFECT: increased efficiency and wider operational capabilities. 3 cl, 3 dwg
