FIELD: chemical industry, more particularly addition of physiologically essential macro- and microelements to drinking water. SUBSTANCE: material comprises organic ionites having porous structure in air porous state, and inorganic slightly soluble compounds, ionite to slightly soluble inorganic compound ratio being 35-90:10-65 wt %. Method makes it possible to add not only macro- but also microelements to water, stabilize isolation of ions into water and remove organic and inorganic impurities therefrom. Specific efficiency (water passage rate) in using such material is as high as 5 min-1. EFFECT: improved properties of the material. 10 ex, 2 tbl
