SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the composition for making swelling refractory heat-protective covers used for protection of structures, constructions, building designs, machines, equipment. Cover composition XT-8000 enhancing fireproofing of metal, wood, paper and plastic contains carbon material, chlorinated polymers and phosphates, mainly - a mixture involving at least three substance of the following components taken from diarylphosphates, triarylphosphates or chlorosubstituted polyphosphates. Composition provides increase of cover swelling ratio, enhancement of coke strength forming at fire effect on cover. EFFECT: enhanced protective effectiveness of the composition. 5 tbl
