FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymer compositions for producing structural foam based on epoxy-phenol-formaldehyde resins, which can be used in engineering, where light-weight non-combustible heat-insulating structural materials are required, which are resistant to long-term effects of high temperatures and aggressive gaseous media, for example, aircraft, space, shipbuilding, machine building, transport, civil and industrial construction. Polymer fire-retardant composition for producing structural foam plastic based on epoxy-novolac block oligomer, porophore—azodiisoisobutyronitrile, block-copolymer of polyorganosiloxane and polyoxyalkylene, which additionally contains thermally expanding graphite, ammonium polyphosphate, chloroparaffin with chlorine content of not less than 70 %.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain material capable of protecting buildings and structures in case of fire from effects of temperatures of 600–900 °C.
